Rainy Day Chic

{wearing: charlotte russe top, h&m jacket, skull scarf, 7seven jeans, louis vuitton speedy 25, and love culture spike flats}

It’s always hard to dress for rainy days. It’s even harder to take a picture of said outfit. When I realize it’s pouring outside and I have to venture out I take a few simple steps to survive the rain while stilling looking chic. It’s very easy. You need to first figure which shoes you are going to wear. If there are a lot of puddles I wouldn’t recommend flats but I was in a hurry and these were the closest to the door. I always recommend wearing skinny jeans because they will tuck into boots well (and everyone knows boots are your best friends on rainy days).

We were going out to eat so I needed something that if the restaurant was too hot that I could take my coat off. I threw on a loose blouse and a moto jacket. I’m seriously obsessed with moto jackets and own several. I got my skull scarf on ebay for $2 and was the best money I ever spent. It gives edge to any outfit and holds its shape very well. Also, picking the right bag is important too. You don’t want to wear a bag you are going to worry about getting wet. I wore my Speedy bag but only because I’ve treated it with water-resistant leather treatment so water is not a big deal. See? It’s not so hard to still look cute in the rain!

P.S. That door on the left is my purse closet! I just did a massive de-cluttering (I’m getting rid of over 50 purses!) but I plan to do a post soon!
