Organic Hair Products from Luxury Parlor

I’ve been thinking about switching to organic hair products for a while now. I decided it was time to actually do some research and here’s what I found! Have you guys heard of the site yet? They sell professional hair care brands at a discount! Now that’s my kind of site! Plus, they offer free shipping!

I’ve heard a lot about Aveda. The cool thing about Aveda is that they make plant-based products. I always thought organic beauty products were expensive and out of my price range. Surprisingly, I was wrong. The Aveda Pure Abundance Volumizing Shampoo is only $17.49 (normally $22). That’s about how much salon shampoos cost, and I’m sure this kind would last longer. What’s really cool about this shampoo is that it has organic acacia gum from Africa. I’m pretty excited that organic shampoos can still give you volume because that’s a necessity for someone with fine hair like me. Another Aveda product that I want is their Brilliant Medium Hold Hair Spray for $15.99 (normally $18). I had no idea there was organic hairspray! It’s made with black tea, organic chamomile and calendula (moisturizes your hair and gives it shine). I think if were to switch one of my products to an organic one, it should definitely be my hair spray.

Another well-known professional hair care line is Kerastase. The Kerastase Soleil Lait Richesse product sounds so cool! You put this product on your hair after you’ve had a day in the sun and it moisturizes your hair. This would be great to throw in your beach bag! I’m sure this bottle will last you a really long time, so it’s well worth the $22.99 (normally $38).

And last but not least is Moroccan Oil, the orgininal company to use Aragan Oil. One of their products really stuck out to me. It’s their Shampoo Moisture Repair Hydratant for $52.99 (normally $60). I know that sounds kind of pricey, but you get a 33.8oz bottle for that price! That’s a lot of shampoo! Why do I love it? It has a bottle pump! Bottle pumps are my favorite thing. You always get the perfect amount of product so you never get too much and have to waste it. This shampoo is the super heroes of shampoos. It has Aragan Oil and Keratin, plus fatty acids and proteins. Those ingredients are what helps it to restore your hair from anything, even from the cold and from dying your hair.

Do you guys use any organic hair products? What do you think? Do you think it’s worth switching to organic hair care products? Let me know! Leave a comment!

  1. I’ve been using Aveda products for a while now and I really like them. I would definitely recommend them!

  2. I think everyone should switch to organic products. I switch to using only organic and you really notice a difference.

  3. After reading this post and some of the comments I just might switch. The Moroccanoil oil shampoo sounds good because you get such a huge size! I hate waiting for things to come in the mail!

  4. To each their own. I’m fine not using organic products. Never have and probably never will. My hair is nice with the cheap chemical filled kind.

  5. @Carol I know! That’s a huge bottle of shampoo! I guess you would want to buy bigger because then you wouldn’t have to worry about forget to order a new one in time.

  6. I love browsing your site because you can constantly bring us new and cool things, I think that I must at least say a thank you for your hard work.
