I felt super girly so I thought I’d put together a little Inspiration Board. All of the photos are from the February 2010 Teen Vogue (see, it wasn’t all bad). Enjoy!
At the top corner is a dress worn by Emma Roberts (btw- sorry I cut off your head, Emma, I was a little embarrassed that I loved something you wore). I stared at that picture for like 10 minutes. It’s so simple, but so amazing. Love. I’m not exactly sure of any of the designers of anything she’s wearing, let me know if any of you guys do!
The model below that is from a Marc by Marc Jacobs ad. I love that combination! It is so fun! I’ll have to pool some courage to try something so gutsy out.
Then the model next to that is a M.O.D. (model off duty) look. I love love love the whole M.O.D. thing. It completely signifies how I like to dress. This is Hanne Gaby Odiele after the Dries Van Noten Spring 2010 Runway Show.
Now on to the mass of purses (because that’s how I like it). The yellow bag is Sonia by Sonia Rykiel and the nylon keychain on that bag is See by Chloé. The purplish quilted bag is, duh, Chanel. And that super cool see through backpack is by Dsquared2.
And last, but not least, is that cute girl in the corner. She totally looks like Annie to me with that giant red Luella bow in her hair. Ah, Luella, how I die to own something you’ve designed. Why must Top Shop tease me with its cute items but huge price tags? That adorable vest is $190! Whaat. I mean, yeah it rocks, but c’mon! That Plume shirt looks like quite the staple piece. I need to find a similar one in my price range ASAP. I’m not dying for the Barlow skirt, but it does work really well with the rest of the outfit. I don’t think I would ever really pair it with anything else, though. She’s also wearing Natalia Brilli leather bracelets and a Tory Burch cuff (just in case you were wondering).
I really enjoyed doing this, so look forward to seeing more of these!
