A Little Light Reading

I went to go get the mail today (yes today, but you would put it off too if your mailbox was on the other side of the apartment complex!) and was stoked to see the February issue of Teen Vogue in there! It’s been a while since I’ve read a magazine so I dove right in. Usually I am the biggest Teen Vogue fan out there, I’ve been reading it since they launched, but I have to say, this was probably my least favorite issue. But to be fair, I’m not a huge Jessica Szohr fan either. They kept trying to push weird shades and shapes of denim on me and I did not like it. My style does not include multiple shades and pieces of denim. I think you pick one, two tops, and you move on to some other fabric. There was good to the issue, though. I feel super inspired for Spring, too bad that’s months away! Boo. Hiss.

Today was a self-declared HGTV day. I have no idea why, but I am completely obsessed with the show House Hunters. It’s amazing. And for a little bit I decided to cheat on HGTV with the Food Network and found a new obsession. The show is called Private Chefs of Beverly Hills. It’s about, duh, private chefs working in Beverly Hills. So yes, more bad reality TV. Why I like it? The chefs all have really fun personalities and their clients are so absurd with their demands. One client hired them, but they had to hide because he wanted his wife to think he had cooked the whole meal! Drama ensues. Oh how I’m going to miss having a DVR and cable TV after this month. Hurry, quick, enjoy the last little bit that’s left of this weekend! Mwuah!
